Horseback Adventures on The Buffalo National River
The Buffalo National River is a national destination for horsemen . It offers hundreds of miles of outstanding riding though some of the most beautiful country in the US.

Many horsemen know about the upper buffalo river area, but few ride the middle river area where there are hundreds of miles of trails along the trails and in nearby destinations like Richland Creek.

This site is about horseback riding on the Buffalo National River with a particular emphasis on the Middle River area, one little known to many riders.

We also own and operate Ozark Historic Cabins
. Our cabins are located right in the center of the very best staging area for riders in the middle river area.

The best news is that our cabins offer horse corrals and facilities at no extra cost. Riders can also ride directly from the cabins to the trails.
We offer horse-friendly facilities to all who stay at our historic cabins. All three dwellings feature tasteful furnishings, complete kitchens with eating and cooking utensils, screened in porches, outdoor barbecues and picnic tables, and  privacy.

We are located just a short ride from the Buffalo National River horse trails. We offer amenities and facilities for horse care with emphasis on great accomodations for horse owners.

We will be expanding this site steadily over the next few months with more details about trails, maps, and destinations near our cabins.

Join us at our Ozark Historic Cabins. This is a horsemen's paradise, we are pleased to be your hosts in the NW Arkansas Buffalo River area, one of America's best kept secrets. You know as horse owners and trail riders, there truly is nothing like getting out and riding the trails. It just doesn't get any better!

"Dear Marci and Jay,
I am writing to say what a wonderful experience staying at your historic cabin is.

With the facilities to promote a vacation with our horses, and the proximity to riding them in the Buffalo National River Park, it just couldn't have been more perfect!

The cabin is so well-furnished and comfortable that we just did not want to leave.  We look forward to another relaxing stay at your Ozark Historic Cabins!"

Thanks.

Please have your current negative coggins handy, you may even be asked to show it when you're on the trail, so carry it with you!
